pHuel Food
A restaurant site for a client who was done with template builders. Built phone-first, because that’s where their visitors are.
The problem
The client wanted something better than the builder templates most local restaurants end up with. Menu, catering info, a gallery, hours and contact, done properly.
What I built
A Next.js and TypeScript site with Framer Motion transitions between sections. Most of their traffic comes from phones, so I designed and tested it on a phone first instead of shrinking a desktop layout down. Food photos are the whole pitch on a page like this, so image loading got most of the attention.
How it turned out
It’s live on Vercel and loads fast on mobile, which is where people are actually deciding where to eat.
