The problem

Krispy runs monthly competitions for his stream with prize pools above $5,000. If people have to refresh to see where they stand, the “am I winning right now” feeling is gone, and so is a big reason to keep playing.

What I built

A Flask backend that recalculates standings as wagers come in and pushes them to the page without a reload. Traffic on a stream site is never steady. It’s quiet, then the whole chat shows up at once during a promo, so I tuned it for those spikes instead of the average.

How it turned out

It runs his monthly competitions. Other streamers saw it working, and that’s how most of my gambling-affiliate work has come in since. One site that holds up tends to bring the next one.
